ABOUT GWBC®
The Greater Women's Business Council (GWBC®) is at the forefront of redefining women business enterprises (WBEs). An increasing focus on supplier diversity means major corporations are viewing our WBEs as innovative, flexible and competitive solutions. The number of women-owned businesses is rising to reflect an increasingly diverse consumer base of women making a majority of buying decision for herself, her family and her business.
The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations and GWBC® provides this national certification brand in our region. These companies are supporting programs such as WBENC and GWBC® by embracing the importance of diversity in today's marketplace. They have provided the financial foundation to help us make the dream of educating, training and standardizing national certification a reality. We are proud of our achievements and we continue to rely on the generosity and expertise of our board of directors, corporate members, women business enterprises and committees/volunteers to help us improve our programs and processes.
GWBC® has partnered with dozens of major companies who are committed to providing a sustainable foundation through our guiding principles to bring education, training and the standardization of national certification to women businesses in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
We invite you to participate in our progress and encourage you to join the WAVE - Where women add value to your bottom-line every day!
GWBC® Guiding Principles:

She's GWBC's leading lady! The Greater Women's Business Council was formed in 2000 with a timeless commitment to inspire, engage and empower women-owned businesses in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. (Image of Lady) is the visual embodiment of that commitment.
