Dorothy B. Brothers Scholarship Opportunity for WBEs

WBENC is proud to offer the Dorothy B. Brothers Scholarship to its Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) as an opportunity to receive up to $11,000 in tuition to attend some of the best executive education programs in the country. If awarded the scholarship, the WBE will choose from a list of WBENC approved executive programs to develop their business and themselves professionally to better serve their company.

Tuck-WBENC Executive Program

The Tuck-WBENC Executive Exchange Program is an intensive, five-day executive development program for WBENC-Certified Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs). It is an intensive learning experience that focuses primarily on increasing the competitive advantage and robustness of the participant's own business. Up to 50 WBE attendees will form a learning community that will continue to provide a source of support, expertise, opportunities, and strategic alliances long after graduation.

"Reflecting back on the weeklong Tuck-WBENC Executive Program invites memories and ideas of new beginnings, fresh starts and new friends. The Tuck-WBENC Executive Program is a MUST. Why? It allowed me a week away – away from the business and away from personal life to be with a small group of likeminded women business owners. The program allowed time to focus not only on your own business issues, but also provide a safe place for others to share theirs. The program forms a unique class of women business owners each year that are bound together from then on."

"The Tuck-WBENC Executive Program taught me not to limit my idea of success. Experienced entrepreneurs in accounting or marketing developed additional strategic insights, while less experienced entrepreneurs in those disciplines didn't feel lost. All came away with a stronger foundation to build upon and more tools to use in reaching our goals. The benefit of knowing you're not alone is immeasurable and we all learned business—as well as life—lessons, many of them profound."
