GWBC WBE VOICE FORUM
The GWBC WBE Voice Forum's mission is to promote, translate, and advocate the needs, issues, and benefits of the certified Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs). Our goal is to facilitate business opportunities and education for all qualified certified participants of the Greater Women's Business Council.
Primary Goals: Create platforms for WBEs to communicate ideas; tools and resources needed to positively impact the growth and development of their businesses.
• Assess the current needs of WBEs.
• Offer programs that add value to potential and certified WBEs.
• Build engagement and retention of WBEs.
• Gain recognition for WBENC and GWBC within state corporations, government agencies and small businesses.
• Instill collaboration and business opportunities among WBEs; build WBE to WBE success stories to disseminate.
WOMEN'S ENTERPRISE FORUM
The Women's Enterprise Forum (The Forum) serves in an advisory capacity to the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Board of Directors. The Forum gives input and feedback on WBENC programs and other matters at the direction of the Board. Participation in The Forum offers opportunities for WBENC certified Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) to represent the voice of all women's business enterprises and engage in networking and development activities with other WBEs and member corporations and government entities. The Forum Leadership Team (FLT) and Forum Committee Representatives (FCR) are appointed by their certifying Regional Partner Organization. The Forum has an elected Chair and two Vice Chairs who serve on the WBENC Board of Directors. Seven additional WBEs from the Forum also serve on the WBENC Board of Directors.
