It is that time of year where holiday celebrations abound, and year-end tasks are setting the stage for next year’s goals. Who knew that this year would be full of opportunities, surprises and challenges as we all identified ways to stay relevant in the marketplace. Whether you are a corporation, women business or nonprofit organization such as GWBC®, we share the same goals of thriving in this economy.
As we tie up this year’s to-do list, let us remember that resilience is a part of our DNA and imagining success did become a reality for some if not all of our goals.
As you take a much-needed break to recharge, restore and reimagine, let us continue to support our women businesses who are located in areas affected by Hurricane Helene, where they are continuing to experience unbelievable challenges to sustain their businesses. It is a long journey, and it is important that we keep them top of mind until they return to a restorative status. GWBC® successfully engaged more than 1,500 women businesses and corporate members in our annual events and programs that included Lucy Lab, UPS Elevate, GWBC® Accelerated Series, Mornings with GWBC®, How to Get Certified, WBE Orientation, Power of Partnering (POP) regional events, Top Corporations Awards Luncheon and LACE Awards Dinner. And we are on track to exceed our annual women business certification goal this year. Thank you to our staff and to you for supporting our endeavors to grow your businesses while building key relationships.
We are proud to have opened our first co-working space, (The WBE Collaborative,) designed for women businesses to network, conduct business and meet our corporate members. It is a great environment and economic way for our homebased or out of town women businesses to grow a professional network without a long-term lease payment.
It is the season of gratitude and GWBC® is grateful to have impressive leadership on our board of directors and sponsors who know the value of supporting our organization. We appreciate your continued efforts to uplift our mission every day.
As you prepare for the new year, please continue to keep GWBC® as your trusted organization of choice for education programs, sponsorships, donations and building a robust business relationship with your targeted list of clients.
